|My name is Dan Koboldt.
I’m a genetics researcher who uses next-generation DNA sequencing to study the genetic basis of human disease.
I also write short stories and novels in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. And I like to hunt things (deer, turkey) with a bow and arrow.
I live in the Midwest and manage the human genetics group for the Genome Institute at Washington University. I’m a husband, proud father, and first-time dog owner.
