Release Day for The Island Deception

A little over a year ago, something momentous happened in my life: HarperCollins published my debut novel. It was the culmination of eight years’ work learning to write fiction. The most joyous part of that experience was sharing it with the many people who helped me along the way. Today, I get to do so again as I celebrate the release of The Island Deception, the sequel to The Rogue Retrieval.

I’m exceptionally proud of this book, and I’m grateful to the many people who made it possible.

These groups are quite special to me because they’re how I came to meet my critique partners. Every writer needs critique partners, and I’ve been blessed with several.

My family, friends, and colleagues have become the most ardent supporters of my writing. They not only tolerate my hobby, but make it fun. It means so much to me that these people are interested in my book simply because I wrote it.
