The Rogue Retrieval Cover Reveal Challenge

The cover for The Rogue Retrieval has arrived, and it’s awesome. But no Vegas magician worth his salt gives away anything for free.

So, we’re issuing a cover reveal challenge over at Suvudu, the site for sci-fi and fantasy fans hosted by Del Rey Books (Random House). It goes live today, November 19th at 10 a.m. Eastern.

The Challenge

To see the cover, you’ll have to pass a test of wit and skill: solve the 12-piece puzzle that reveals the image hidden beneath it. On my first attempt, it took me around ten minutes. If you’re feeling ambitious, tackle the hard version (20 pieces), which took me half an hour.

I challenge you to do better than that!

The Prize

So many things are at stake here: your self-esteem, which will be slowly mocked by the running timer, as well as your reputation in the puzzle solving community. So I’ll make this interesting: two of today’s challengers will win a $15 Amazon gift card and a free copy of The Rogue Retrieval.
